Vacation with Bryce & Valerie

Well we had a really great time last week with our good friends from Utah, Bryce and Val. They came to visit us and we saw a lot of new places! Here are some pictures of us from Six Flags and the beach! We went to Malibu and to Oxnard. They were really pretty and lots of fun!

I found something when I was going organizing some paperwork that I thought all of you would like to read. Feel free to copy it down, I'm unaware of who the author is.

If I knew it would be the last time that I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.
If I knew it could be the last time that I'd see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more.

I would videotape each action and word, so I could play it back day after day.
If I knew it would be the last time, I could spare an extra minute
To stop and say, "I love you," instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.
If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day,
Well I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away.
For surely there's always tomorrow to make for an oversight,
And we always get a second chance to make everything just right.
There will always be another day to say, "I love you"
And certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can do?"
But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love youand I hope we never forget.
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.
So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day.
That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug or kiss
And you were to busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their last wish.
So hold your loved ones close today, and whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them and that you'll always hold them dear.
Take time to say "I'm sorry", "Please forgive me", "Thank you", or "It's okay".
And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today.

Today was pretty hot here in Cali, 95 degrees! And like 50 degrees at night! Crazy! I laid out today and got sun-burned, but it will turn into a tan, so that's good. I went to the dog park with the dogs and pretty much no one was there when I went, so we had the huge place to ourselves! It was nice! Our friends, Bryce and Val are coming out to visit us next week so I should have a lot of new pictures of us at Six Flags and at the beach and stuff! I will update in the next few days.... Hope you're all doing well!

Updating Our Blog!

Hi everyone! Since Kris started our blog, I thought I would keep it updated from now on. I've been teaching myself how to do this blogging thing for the last two hours- ha ha! Anyway, please let us know when you visit our page, and I will take some updated photos soon. And I'm going to try to update everyday on what is going on in our lives! Right now we're on the way to dog training classes- we joined about five weeks ago and our dogs have changed for the better! We actually have well trained dogs now!
